In 1924, Wolf Chevrolet was a fledgling automobile dealership in Boone County.   C.J. ‘Doc’ Wolf went to Janesville to pick up a truck, driving just the chassis while sitting on a milk crate. That became the first new truck ever sold in Boone County! 

We at Poplar Grove Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum are grateful to the Wolf   family for entrusting this vintage vehicle to our care.   We realize no one ever again really owns these artifacts—we are all only caretakers of these treasures for future generations.
